Noticeboard

Under NHS guidance all appointments will now be by phone. Your GP or Nurse will call you around the time of your appointment and manage all they can over the phone. Please DO NOT come to the surgery unless they ask you to.  Thank you.

Bristol City Council have set up - The We Are Bristol support phone number – 0117 352 3011 – went live yesterday, and will offer support to residents across the city.

 

Call handlers will be available initially during office hours (8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday) to provide support for people with a wide range of needs, including obtaining food supplies, other essential items and medication. They can also help arrange follow-up support with different organisations.

 

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • non_nhs_services3Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Passport signing
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
